I grew up believing I was Half Irish and a quarter German, plus Native on my mom's side, Scots Irish and maybe Welsh. The matrochrondial DNA results showed every area in Europe and parts of middle East. Zero Irish. Scottish and Welsh, with some North African with Egyptian. Palestinian. Turkish Sephardic, Czechia, Slovakian, Portuguese, Mexican and Brazilian, plus Romanian, Hungarian, Polish. My dad's side Lichtensteinian, Austrian, more Scottish, every Scandinavian country, Baltic, almost all Central Europe except Germany. Also Native American. I was blown away by the Middle Eastern, Turkish Brazilian and Mexican. Quite happy about it. My fam was all over the place😮

Mongolia area (primitive early Asians) came across the land bridge before it thawed and was covered in water. They were the first native americans.

The thing is about DNA and children is that your offspring aren't guaranteed to inherit a clean 50% split of your DNA. There is every possibility that the genetic markers that indicate a certain inheritance aren't passed on. Now imagine that across many generations.

Mongolians were fantastic horsemen and warriors. Genghis Khan was Mongolian and he ruled a huge Empire in China. I have Viking Dna which I like but sadly no Mongolian a people I admire. Your mother is lovely.

Your mom is awesome. I love her. I wanna hug her and I barely hug anyone. She reminds me of my mom... except my mom is 100% northern European. We all did our DNA in my family and we are the whitest whites that were ever white. Basically draw a circle that catches Iceland in the North, Germany and Normandy in the South, Ireland and Sweden in West and East and that's me, everything in that circle. My dad has Iberian, Berber, Sephardic Jew, and Ute Native American. We know it's Ute because we actually have a picture and my great-great-aunt met him when she was a kid. I actually met her when I was a kid, she was 107 at the time. My dad got a little from him but I got nothing. My grandma on my mother's side also has Mohawk amongst her whiteness. I also did not receive any of that. Again we know he was Mohawk because my grandma met his brother when she was a kid, he was like 50 years younger than my ancestor and old. My grandma also has Basque and Iberian but again I just got the super north European white. There may be some southern European or Jewish or Native American genes doing something for me in there somewhere but not enough to show up on my DNA tests. I also sunburn in like 75° weather so IT'S NOT HELPING MUCH on that end.

In regards to emotional connection, that just seems to be a struggle with everyone. I've received a bit more patience and understanding than my male relatives and friends, but I've also experienced very sparse emotional support as well. Opening up was always a challenge for me, it was something that I learned to be afraid of because I was either treated with disregard or punished for what I felt. Opening up is scary for many people. I honestly really envy the women who are able to claim having such deeply caring support systems. I often hear about girl friendships that are very open to the point that they even cuddle. And it gets me all bitter cause I can't even seem to make friends in the first place, let alone friends like that, I feel ripped off, hahaha 😂

We all come from Noah and his family that is why there are similarities between us and Asian and middle eastern cultures, the European came recently when they crossed over the ocean.
